Our CEO serves as a Guest Panalist for The Sesame Workshop’s Black History Month Event

We are pleased to report that our very own CEO, Cindy Senyah Baah served as a panalist for The Sesame Workshop’s Black History Month Event. She joined a prestigious panel including Saundra Thomas, VP of Community Affairs for WABC-TV, NYC, Kenneth Braswell, Executive Director of Father’s Incorporated, Stephen Powell, Executive Director of MentoringUSA, 2012 White House ‘Champion of Change’ Awardee, and our 2011 Determined To Educate, Inc. ‘Mentor Of The Year’ Honoree, Timothy Bellavia, Founder and President of T.I.M.M-E.Company and Mark Smith, Board Member of The One Hundred Black Men, Inc.of NY.

The panel focused on the importance of mentorship and why mentoring is so valuable and necessary for the futiure of educating our children. The panel was welcomed vy Organizer and Coordinator Alex Brown of The Sesame Workshop followed by Opening Remarks by The Chief Executive Officer of The Sesame Workshop H. Melvin Ming and was moderated by Zainab Kabba Assistant Director of Glbal Education at The Sesame Workshop.
