Nicole A. Jefferson grew up with a pen in her hand and a strong desire to express herself on paper. This aspiration was fed through her love of books and through the urging of her many teachers. She started out writing stories for her own enjoyment but then progressed to writing poems and short stories for school. In 2006 Nicole realized a life long dream to self publish her first novel, Time to Heal. Since then she has written articles for, Sister Divas Magazine, an online publications that puts the spot light on women and what matters most to them.


Nicole was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and it also where she raises her two children. In an effort to increase her skills as an orator, Nicole joined Toastmasters. Inc in 2007. She holds the position of VP of Public Relations and is on her way to being an Internationally Recognized Competent Communicator. To add to a list of accomplishments Nicole was a finalist in submissions for “Chicken Soup for the African-American Woman’s Soul” with her story the “Butterfly”.
