Our ‘Speaker Series’ Week kicked off in February and what an amazing week that was! We travelled all the way to Edison, New Jersey with Darryl “DMC” McDaniels of The iconic Hip Hop Group and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees, “RUNDMC/JMJ” to Edison Job Corps. The students got to hear from DMC about hard work and dedication!

Then we travelled back to the Bronx to Visit The Eagle Academy for Young Men with WABC/Eyewitness News - Channel 7, NY,  Emmy Award Winning Anchor Man, Mr. Ken Rosato. “You can and will all be successful” - Ken Says to the Young Men of Eagle.

We then headed to The South Bronx Job Corps where Actor/Comedian ‘Talent’ let the students know how he became successful in the Comedy business and how his good friends and fellow comedians such as ‘Kevin Hart’ and ‘JB Smoove’ all still stick together in the business.

We swung our way back to Eagle Academy for Young Men in the Bronx to give a little old school knowledge from the Legendary Mr. Bob Slade of WBLS/107.5/NY - ‘The Open Line’ and our 2011 ‘Communicator Of The Year’. Mr. Slade took it back to iconic figures that he has interviewed.

Lastly, we visited the New Visions Charter Schools Humanities II to help them out with a project about ‘Careers’. We brought Mr. Ken Rosato again for the ride. Mr. Rosato shared his beginning experience in broadcasting on the radio.
