“God’s Time Is the Right Time”

“God’s Delay is not His Denial”

Thanks for joining this class.  I hope you find this lecture on God’s Time Is the Right Time Insightful.

Have you asked God for something that you feel must be falling on deaf ears?  Or maybe you’re a bit frustrated in hearing “everything in due time”.  I want you to know that He does hear and He is eager to answer our requests.  “If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good and advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven [perfect as He is] give good and advantageous things to those who keep on asking him! ” Matthew 7:11 AMP.  He delights when we come to him with our requests.

He is completely attentive and totally in tuned with our growth or lack of.  It may seem like He is not answering, but God’s delay is NOT His denial.  God is able to see the beginning from the end.  His vision is so far beyond ours, while our own is short sighted.  While He wants to help us in our journey towards our goal, he is ultimately concerned with refining our character along the way.  He will take his time to ensure our character is developing, and character is developed through time spent with Him.

Do you know parents who feed their infants steak? No. Their system has not developed to a point where they can digest steak.  This isn’t denial; this is an act of love knowing that this food would ultimately be detrimental to a baby’s digestive system.  It is not until the infant reaches a stage of maturity in adolescence that its digestive system can handle steak.  Out of love, that is what God does with us.

He says:
“I know what I’m doing, I have it all planned out - plans to take care of you, not -abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I’ll listen. When you come looking for me,  you"ll find me.  Yes when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else,  I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed.” Jeremiah 29:11-14 MSG -  I get excited about that.

Are there any questions, please raise your hand?
